xHamster Awaits Sense8

Last summer, we sent a letter to Lana and Lily Wachowski, offering the opportunity to continue the Sense8 story on xHamster, after cancellation of the series was announced by Netflix.

We were thrilled when they responded, and we had a wonderful call with their team. While moving the series wasn’t a possibility, we’re so pleased to see the series get its due tonight, with a long-awaited finale.

Over the past year, we’ve watched as thousands of people came to the site looking for that polymorphous perversity that makes Sense8 — and xHamster — so special. While we won’t be the home of the finale, we do love the idea of a parody (er, tribute) to one of entertainment’s most innovative and progressive series.

And, just for a little last minute fun, we took a look at the numbers over the past few weeks, to see just which of the stars was the most popular on xHamster. In case, you know, our casting director needs to start looking.
